Packers’ Jayden Reed Questionable to Return With Shoulder Injury
In the Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been designated questionable to return after suffering an apparent shoulder injury.
This came after a 13-yard reception that eventually led to a rushing touchdown for running back Josh Jacobs.
In total, Reed had recorded four receptions for 46 yards as well as two punt returns for 26 yards.

Reed is one of the best offensive weapons for the Packers, having recorded 55 receptions for 857 yards and six touchdowns. He also rushed 20 times for 163 yards and one touchdown while also returning punts for 110 yards.

Green Bay has faced multiple injuries this game, including to wide receiver Romeo Doubs, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.
Additionally, while this story was being written, center Josh Myers was carted off the field with an injury.
Needless to say, this was a tough game for Green Bay. The Eagles beat the Packers 22-10.

Reed has been a standout player since he began playing college football in 2018. Reed started his career with the Western Michigan Broncos, where he recorded 56 receptions for 797 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named second-team All-MAC.
Soon afterward, Reed transferred to Michigan State, but was ruled ineligible for the 2019 season due to the NCAA transfer rule.
Reed made his Michigan State debut in 2020 during the shortened COVID-19 season. Across seven games, he recorded 33 receptions for 407 yards and three touchdowns.

Reed truly came into his own during the 2021 season, making 59 receptions for 1,026 yards and 10 touchdowns across 13 games. He also rushed seven times for 34 yards and one touchdown.
Reed was named the 2021 Peach Bowl MVP and was named second-team All-Big Ten.
In 2022, Reed recorded 55 receptions for 636 yards and five touchdowns across 11 games. He was once again named second-team All-Big Ten.
Reed was selected by the Packers with the 50th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
In his rookie season, Reed made 64 receptions for 793 yards and eight touchdowns. He also rushed 11 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
