Packers’ Jordan Love Doesn’t Hold Back on Micah Parsons
It has been nearly three weeks since the Dallas Cowboys shocked the NFL world by trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Since then, Parsons has made his presence known, causing havoc for the Packers’ opponents thus far.

In just two games, both of which saw Parsons have limited snaps due to his lingering back injury, the edge rusher has secured 1.5 sacks and one tackle for loss.
Parsons is a perennial edge rusher, and he was given a record four-year, $188 million contract to do what he does best. The Packers have already transformed into a Super Bowl contender with the trade, leading to Jordan Love letting his true feelings known about the addition of the former Cowboys star.
Love joined “The Rich Eisen Show” to talk about the sheer impact that Parsons has had.
“Micah Parsons is by far one of the most competitive people I’ve met in my life. I think that competitive nature is what he brings. Like what you said, he is itching to be able get off that snap count and go out there and play a full game. He is itching to go out there and be on the field as much as possible.
“Just being around him, I know what type of competitor he is. He wants to win everything he does. That’s just a little mindset that he is bringing to the team and obviously to that room. It’s that infectious energy, knowing what type of player he is, and the way he plays the game, I think he is going to make everyone better.”

Love has clear admiration for Parsons, and it’s hard not to see why. He is one of the best at his position, and he has already had a clear impact on the Packers’ defense.
It will be interesting to see if Matt LaFleur removes his snap restriction soon and what kind of havoc Parsons can cause with a full game under his belt. He already has 1.5 sacks and could easily reach double-digit sacks in the coming weeks.
Parsons secured 12 in 2024, and that was with him missing four games. The Packers are likely holding him back from further injuring his back and making sure he is healed before taking the field at 100 percent capacity.
Either way, Parsons is sure to get far more sacks once he is allowed to play all defensive snaps in a game.
