Packers’ Micah Parsons Has Heartbreaking 2-Word Reaction to Devastating Injury
Green Bay Packers fans watched the worst-case scenario play out in Sunday’s 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Yes, the defeat dropped Green Bay out of first place in the NFC North and behind the Chicago Bears, who the Packers play next week in a pivotal game that could decide the division winner.
But the team also lost arguably its best player, and for sure it’s top defensive player when pass-rusher Micah Parsons left in the second half after suffering a non-contact injury.

Video replay seemed to show Parsons tearing his ACL, which Pro Football Talk later reported the team believes is what happened. Parsons could even be seen on video on social media telling the team trainers that he was “done” seconds after the injury occurred.
“If the diagnosis is confirmed, Parsons will miss the rest of the season and have surgery to repair the injury,” Pro Football Talk reported. “The hope would be for him to be back early in the 2026 season, but there’s a lot of steps that need to be taken before anyone will be ready to talk about return dates.”

Head coach Matt LaFleur admitted to reporters after the game that Parsons’ prognosis “didn’t look good,” which Parsons himself seemed to confirm after the game.
“I’m sickened,” Parsons said in a text message to the Associated Press.
Packers fans certainly share the sentiment given how well the 26-yer-old Pro Bowler had been playing.
Parsons had found his Pro Bowl form during his first season in Green Bay after a blockbuster offseason trade from the Dallas Cowboys right before the start of the season.
Through 14 games, Parsons had recorded 74 pressures, 46 hurries, 41 tackles, 14 QB hits, 12.5 sacks, a pair of forced fumbles, and one pass defensed, with a 23.15% pass-rush win-rate, per Pro Football Focus.
