Paramount Plus has announced two Black Friday deals for 2023. New and former subscribers can get:
- Paramount Plus Essential at $1.99 a month for three months
- Paramount Plus with SHOWTIME at $3.99 a month for three months
Go to the Paramount homepage to redeem these offers. Both are available until December 3.
What Is Paramount Plus Essential?
Paramount Plus Essential grants streaming access to the full Paramount Plus library with periodic ad breaks. This plan normally costs $5.99 a month, or $59.99 a year ($5 a month) if you use annual billing.
What Is Paramount Plus with SHOWTIME?
Paramount Plus with SHOWTIME is the ad-free streaming option. It includes other features like:
- The ability to download movies and TV show episodes for offline watching
- Live-streaming of your local CBS station
- Streaming of hit SHOWTIME series like Billions, Dexter and Yellowjackets
This plan normally costs $11.99 a month, or $119.99 a year ($10 a month) if you use annual billing.
What Can You Watch on Paramount Plus?
Both plans boast over 45,000 TV show episodes and movies. You should consider Paramount’s Black Friday deal if you’re interested in these shows:
- All Star Trek series including The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager moved to Paramount Plus after leaving Netflix in 2022. Paramount has also launched new shows like Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds exclusively on its online streaming platform.
- Cheers, the long-running sitcom that follows the lives of the staff and patrons of a Boston bar called Cheers. The series influenced many later sitcoms, including its spinoff Frasier.
- Frasier’s 2023 reboot, which launched in October. Kelsey Grammer reprises his role as the titular character, Frasier Crane. The series follows Crane as he tries to improve his relationship with his son and navigates his new life in Boston as a Harvard professor. Paramount Plus also hosts all 11 seasons of the original Frasier.
- Jericho, which ran for two seasons in the early 2000s. It follows the citizens of a small Colorado town called Jericho, after unknown forces detonate nuclear bombs in every major American city. The show tackles the challenges of living in a post-apocalypse world and includes the conspiratorial plots that made LOST popular at around the same time.
- Twin Peaks, a cult classic from David Lynch. The quirky FBI Agent Dale Cooper travels to Twin Peaks to solve the murder of Laura Palmer, a local high school student. However, there’s more to this small town than meets the eye.
