Naturally, this massive trade sent the NBA world into a tailspin. The entire sports world also reacted, including massive Mavericks fan Patrick Mahomes.
Initially, Mahomes posted “Wait what?” following the announcement of the trade. He quickly followed that up with, “I’m sick rin….”
Now that the proverbial dust has settled on the trade, Mahomes offered a different take on the trade. He followed up his responses with a more hopeful look at the new Mavericks lineup.
“Kyrie and AD going to be nice tho!” Mahomes’ third post reads.
What is interesting is Davis had told reporters that the Lakers needed to find some more centers or big men. He certainly got his wish being traded to the Mavericks.
