On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills exacted some revenge on their AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots, with a 35-31 win at Foxborough Stadium.
Early on, it appeared that New England might blow out their opponents, as the Patriots roared ahead to a 24-7 halftime lead. However, Josh Allen helped Buffalo capture a lead in the second half, throwing for 193 yards and three touchdowns in the comeback win.
TreVeyon Henderson led the Patriots with his 148 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Maye also scored two on the ground, but it wasn’t enough to help them sweep the Bills in the regular season.
Throughout a good portion of the season, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye looked like he was on a clear path towards possibly winning the NFL Most Valuable Player. However, Sunday’s performance included him throwing for just 155 yards, with an interception and three sacks in the loss.

Another performance on Sunday stood out and helped the favorite stand taller in the odds to win the NFL MVP Award. Matthew Stafford propelled the Los Angeles Rams to a 41-34 win over the Detroit Lions behind his 368 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday.
With that, DraftKings Sportsbook shifted the odds, showing that Stafford had further solidified his standing in the MVP race, now sitting at -250 to capture the prestigious award. Maye fell to +320 from his previous odds, followed by the Bills’ Allen at +600.
Sunday’s win helped clinch a playoff spot for the Rams, as Stafford looks to help his team return to the Super Bowl and potentially capture the Lombardi Trophy.
Stafford’s season for the NFC’s current No. 1 seed includes 3,354 yards and 35 touchdowns thrown with just four interceptions, setting him apart from the league’s other quarterbacks.
The Rams also lead all teams in Super Bowl odds at +340, which further shows just how valuable Stafford is to this team and their championship aspirations.
Meanwhile, the Patriots have become the No. 2 seed in the AFC and are 11-3, with Buffalo (10-4) gaining ground in the division.
Despite Maye and the Patriots’ loss to the Bills, there is still plenty of excitement in New England. The franchise looks to be heading in the right direction under coach Mike Vrabel and with their best quarterback since the legendary Tom Brady.
