Paul Finebaum Throws Shade at ‘Disgusting’ Ohio State Fans

If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that ESPN college football analyst and SEC expert Paul Finebaum is not a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes — or at least their fanbase.

Finebaum often picks against the Buckeyes whenever he can, and during Friday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show” on the SEC Network, he unleashed some harsh criticism of their fans. After taking a caller who began ranting about Buckeye supporters, Finebaum quickly jumped in to add his own thoughts.

“I don’t mean to jump on your call, Eddie, but let me do this. Can I, if you would indulge me?” Finebaum said on his show, via On3. “You said Ohio State fans are usually loud. What else? Arrogant?

Let me jump in here, because before I did what I do now, I was a writer. I’d like to add a few words if you don’t mind: Obnoxious, disgusting, despicable — you already said whiny. I would like to add sniveling, supercilious.”

Fans on social media had some pretty strong reactions to Finebaum’s harsh comments.

“Being that I am currently surrounded by them at the Illini game. I would tend to agree,” a fan said.

“Paul Finebaum hates anything north of Tennessee and west of Texas,” someone else added.

Another person wrote: “Words that should have been used to describe his takes on Arch and Texas.”

“In fairness, he should know, as he himself is obnoxious, disgusting, and despicable,” one more fan commented.
