Peyton Manning, Shannon Sharpe Draw Attention for Reaction to Broncos’ Win
The Denver Broncos scored a massive NFL Playoffs win at their home stadium on Saturday, defeating Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in an overtime thriller.
With some controversy over calls and decisions, the AFC Divisional Round game came down to a game-winning Will Lutz field goal in the extra time, with the Broncos capturing a 33-30 victory in front of over 77,000 fans.
Among those attending the game were multiple Broncos legends, including two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning and three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end Shannon Sharpe.

The legendary players were also with former Broncos Demarcus Ware, Terrell Davis, Mark Schlereth, and Brian Pariani in a comfortable box seat to watch the game at the stadium.

Cameras captured the various legends cheering after the game, including Sharpe, who wore a special jacket celebrating the Broncos.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer was visibly excited, yelling and slapping hands with his friends and former teammates in the box.
“Yeah, baby, I’m good luck, I’m gonna have to come back next week,” he said as he hugged Manning.
“Right here, baby, next Sunday. Right here!” Manning told Sharpe.
Sharpe won three Super Bowl rings as a member of the Broncos, while Manning achieved one Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts before achieving another win with the Broncos.
Fans reacted to seeing the legends celebrating in their box seats, with some calling out Manning’s fandom, noting he played for the Colts longer than he did for the Broncos.
“It is weird that Peyton likes the Broncos over the Colts. It’s like if Tom was always referred to as a Buc,” a fan commented.
Another X commenter wrote, “That would be a fun place to be. Go Broncos.”
“Peyton Manning??? He was there for 2 years,” a commenter said regarding the NFL legend.
“Stay away from Sharpe. That dude will get you in deep,” another commenter said on X.
Other commenters suggested that the Broncos needed Manning to “suit up” or provide moral support in Denver, especially after the team lost its star quarterback, Bo Nix, to a broken ankle during the game.
“I hope Peyton talked with Bo, I am guessing that young man could use a boost right now,” a commenter said.
With the win over Buffalo, the No. 1 seed Broncos will face either the Houston Texans or the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Denver will continue with Jarrett Stidham as their starting QB due to Nix’s devastating season-ending injury.
