Puka Nacua Faces Backlash Over Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Remark
The Los Angeles Rams take the field on Thursday night for a massive showdown against the Seattle Seahawks, however, a lot of attention has been drawn to Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua this week after he appeared on a live stream with popular social media and YouTube personalties Adin Ross and Neon.
While a lot of different things emerges from the stream, Nacua faced some intensive backlash when he was asked a question about the Kansas City Chiefs’ struggles after losing Week 15, officially being eliminated from the NFL playoff race, and losing Patrick Mahomes for the season with a Torn ACL.
While Nacua was likely simply making a joke, he co-existed there struggles with a comment involving Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s fiancee and popular pop star Taylor Swift, calling it the “Swift curse.”
“They didn’t have Rahsee Rice, who’s there other receiver this year, I don’t feel like they ran the ball well… it’s gotta be the Swift curse, something like that… they ran out of little bit of juice,”

“another jealous loser,” a fan said.
Someone else added, “That’s very childish. What’s wrong with people?”
Another person wrote, “Gossiping with streamers about other players.bad look. Once he gets paid, full diva mode about to be activated.”
“They won the SB first year they were together do how can there be a swift curse?” A fan shared.
One more fan commented, “Rams need to get Puka away from these streamers, man.”

Kelce and Swift have been publicly together since 2023, during which time the Chiefs have appeared in two Super Bowls, winning one.
This year, however, the team sits at 6-8 overall heading into Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans, with Gardner Minshew set to start at quarterback in place of Mahomes for the final three games.
