Putin’s Inauguration Message to Donald Trump
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Donald Trump, the incoming U.S. President, on his Inauguration Day.
Putin said that Moscow was “open for dialogue” with the new administration over the Russia-Ukraine war.
“The main thing is to resolve the original causes of the crises,” Putin said, according to reports on Telegram. “The main target ought to be not a temporary ceasefire, but a long-term peace that involves respecting everyone’s interests.”
