Qatar Airways Issues Update on Flights, Civil Aviation Authority
Qatar Airways said it would continue its temporary suspension of flight operations in an update on Monday morning.
The unfolding Iran conflict has led the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to close the airspace to civilian aircraft.
Iran has fired missiles and drones into the territories of its Gulf neighbors.
“Update: Qatar Airways flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace,” Qatar Airways said in a post on X.
“Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.”
It said another update would be provided on March 3 by 9:00 a.m. local time in Doha.
The airline advised passengers to look for the latest flight information on its website or app.
