Ravens’ John Harbaugh Reveals Cryptic Lamar Jackson Injury Update
The Baltimore Ravens have had a rough all-around 2025 NFL season thus far. Entering Week 12, they hold a 5-5 record.
Despite seeing superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson miss a lot of time to begin the season, the Ravens are still very much in contention in the AFC playoff picture. However, there could be more trouble on the horizon.
Jackson is dealing with another injury problem.

This week, Jackson is dealing with an ankle injury. He was forced to miss practice once again due to the injury on Wednesday. That has brought up some concern about his playing status for this week’s game against the New York Jets.

Keeping that in mind, head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Jackson’s status after practice. He offered a very cryptic update about Jackson that didn’t hint one way or another about the star quarterback’s status for this week.
“I know it’s Lamar, it’s our quarterback,” Harbaugh said. “I understand how important it is and it wasn’t his best interest of practice today. And we’ll see where we’re at [Thursday].”
If Jackson is forced to miss more time, Baltimore’s road to the playoffs would become even more difficult. The fact that the Ravens are still alive and well in the playoff picture is impressive, to say the least.
So far this season, Jackson has been able to play in seven games. He has completed 68 percent of his pass attempts for 1,442 yards, 15 touchdowns, and three interceptions, while also running for 226 yards and a touchdown on 39 attempts.
Hopefully, the team holding Jackson out of practice on Wednesday was more precautionary than anything else. Baltimore badly needs him to be on the field in order to live up to the Super Bowl contender hype that the team received before the season began.

Only time will tell, but this update didn’t give much to the fans who are waiting eagerly for good news on Jackson. In an ideal world, Harbaugh will be able to share a much better update on the 28-year-old superstar in the near future.
Expect to hear more news over the next day or two. For now, Jackson’s status against the Jets remains a major question mark.
