Report: Dolphins Decide the Fate of Mike McDaniel After Parting Ways With Chris Grier
After a rough 2-7 start to the 2025 season for the Miami Dolphins, owner Stephen Ross has already made a sweeping change by parting ways with Chris Grier. Grier and the organization have agreed to part ways, and now it appears the team has made a decision on head coach Mike McDaniel.

Per Adam Schefter, the Dolphins are not going to fire McDaniel, at least through the 2025 season. What happens beyond that is anyone’s guess, though it would not be the least bit shocking if Ross kept the head coach through 2026.
