Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Confirms NASCAR Sponsorship With Famous Drinks Brand
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has confirmed a major sponsorship deal with the famous drinks brand SUNNYD for the upcoming NASCAR season. This partnership will see SUNNYD return as a sponsor for HYAK Motorsports during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series. Harvest Hill Beverage Company, which SUNNYD sits under, will be the primary sponsor of five races during the season. This will celebrate the tenth year of SUNNYD’s involvement with NASCAR.
Stenhouse Jr. was born in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and has become a well-known figure in the NASCAR community. His career took off with two consecutive NASCAR Xfinity Series championships in 2011 and 2012.
Since then, he has been an established driver in the NASCAR Cup Series and was named Sunoco Rookie of the Year in 2013. His past victories include a win in the 2023 Daytona 500.
This partnership between SUNNYD and Stenhouse Jr., dates back to his rookie year in 2013 and will display the SUNNYD brand prominently on Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro for five races.
These NASCAR Cup Series races include the NASCAR Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, the prestigious Daytona 500, Bristol Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, and the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. SUNNYD will also remain an associate sponsor for the remainder of the season.
“The 2025 season marks the tenth consecutive year that SUNNYD is a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series,” Henk Hartong, Chairman of SUNNYD, said. “We have been with Ricky since his 2013 rookie season and are excited to have him in this SUNNYD paint scheme for the Clash and Daytona 500.
“We’re grateful to our fans and customers for their loyal support of SUNNYD and what can be considered the best paint scheme on the track.
“We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Hyak Motorsports and the No. 47 car and splashing SUNNYD on Ricky in victory lane.”
The machinery will also feature SUNNYD-themed designs during the aforementioned events. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. shared his thoughts on the continued partnership.
“SUNNYD has been a longtime supporter of mine throughout my career. We’ve become family. I’m looking forward to continuing that relationship at Hyak Motorsports and trying to get them in victory lane this year.”
The 2025 season sees Stenhouse Jr. driving for HYAK Motorsports, a team that has recently undergone rebranding from JTG Daugherty Racing.
Stenhouse Jr. will also be seen racing with a Hungry Jack sponsorship for another race on June 28 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This race features SUNNYD’s continued presence as part of Harvest Hill’s promotional efforts.
For avid NASCAR followers, the 2025 season begins with the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium and continues to the Daytona 500.
These races will be broadcast live on FOX and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Stenhouse Jr. is also guaranteed a spot in the NASCAR All-Star Race owing to his victory at Talladega Superspeedway in the Fall.
