The lifting of European sanctions against the Russian Agricultural Bank is essential to the Black Sea truce brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday morning.
Peskov said if Europe does not want to ease sanctions under the Black Sea initiative, then it does not want to follow the path of peace, Russian state media reported.
The EU has said it will not lift sanctions on Russia until there is a lasting peace deal in Ukraine.
