Fans and followers have watched 1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton on her transformative weight loss journey since the TLC show aired back in January 2020, and now her admirers get a front-row seat to her success as she recently revealed her shocking 500-pound weight loss.

Slaton, who was made famous by the show, is the sister to the show’s other star, Amy Slaton. She was married in November 2022 to the now-deceased Caleb Willingham, who per PEOPLE, was a fellow member of the Windsor Hills Rehabilitation Center alongside Slaton when they met.

January 2020

According to Us Weekly, the Kentucky native started her journey on the series at 600 pounds, though her weight fluctuated as the show went on. While she got down into the 500-pound range by the end of the inaugural season, she gained it back during COVID-19 quarantine.

July 2021

Feeling confident in a black lipstick selfie, the reality star took to her Instagram to share, “Bright as the sun, dark as night. People fail to see the true me. I am MS. SLATON!”

March 2022

In a series of filtered and fun photos on Instagram, Slaton showed fans her significant weight gain while wearing a wine-colored tank that showed off her forearm tattoos.

June 2022

The TLC personality took to TikTok to respond personally to a fan who expressed concern for her health, when they sent her a message sharing, “I’m just worried about you Tammy. I love you.”

In the video she simply replied, “It’s all good, honey, I understand. Thank you. I love you too.”

September 2022

Slaton shared a video via TikTok — which has since been deleted — of herself lip-syncing to Baby Chaos. It was clear she was feeling herself when miming the lyrics “I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am rich, I am that b****h.”

Although taped months prior, fans got the first look of the reality TV icon after hitting 700 pounds during the season four premier of 1000 Lb. Sisters. According to Us Weekly, revealing this weight publicly was the catalyst for going to rehabilitation and receiving surgery.

Swiftly connecting with her TikTok followers after the premier and rehabilitation discovery, Slaton posted a video of herself dancing, showing off shorter hair, and the undeniable weight loss in her face.

Days later, she posted another video, revealing, “I can’t talk about all the stuff that’s going on with my hair, my weight, my clothes, and my marriage. I’m still under contract.”

June 2023

Fans bombarded Slaton’s Instagram to praise her first full body post since her rehabilitation. Clad in a floral maxi dress with freshly showered curls, she confidently shared her new physique.

October 2023

Celebrating Halloween alongside her dog Lil Bit, Slaton gave her TikTok followers a look of her smiling in two different costumes – a two-piece pajama skeleton set and an Egyptian-like Princess dress with a mesh midriff.

During the 2023 – 2024 holiday season, the icon took several Instagram selfies and TikTok videos with gal-pal and paranormal princess Hayley Michelle and her pregnant cat Chocolate while enjoying some time experimenting with different fun filters.

Enjoying some fun in the sun with new BFF Michelle, Slaton posted an Instagram carousel showing off her transforming figure in a blue-and-silver scallop printed swimsuit while dipping her feet in the water.

In collaboration with Medical Group Pop Recovery Systems, the now 500 pounds lighter TV sensation took to Instagram to share an inspirational message to potentially struggling fans regarding her journey, “Your Journey is Unique, But You Don’t Have to Do It Alone.”

She continued to share, “My journey isn’t everyone’s journey, but I know many of you have been inspired by the growth you’ve seen in me over the years. I have to say, one of the biggest game-changers for me recently has been connecting with Pop Recovery Systems. They’ve met me right where I am and helped guide me through the next chapter of my transformation.”
