Today’s ‘Wordle’ #1,281 Answers, Hints and Clues for Saturday, December 21
People are very passionate about Wordle, the daily puzzle published by The New York Times.
They are passionate, not only about their winning streak, but also their preferred strategies to solving the game.
But how do human players compare against Artificial Intelligence (AI)? We asked ChatGPTto find the best tips for beating Wordle every time.
The AI service suggested using letters “like A, E and consonants like R, T, S,” in your first guess. “This helps maximize your chances of identifying letters early,” ChatGPT said.
Starting words, such as “crate” or “slate,” allow players to “maximize their initial information.” Then, you need to begin looking for patterns in words and also common letter combinations and word structures in English such as “TH,” “CH” and “ST.”
You should also keep an eye on letter frequency because some letters appear more often in English words than others, such as E, A, R, I, O, T, N and S. But definitely use more vowels in your early guesses because they can reveal vowel placements and help narrow down the correct answer.
How To Play ‘Wordle’
Players are tasked with guessing a mystery five-letter word—and must do so in six attempts or fewer. They are helped along with a color-coded tile system: green means they have got the letter correct; yellow shows the letter appears in the word but is in the wrong spot; and, finally, a gray tile indicates that the letter does not appear in the word at all.
Below are some clues to help you solve Saturday’s game, but be warned that the answer appears below that at the end of the article, so please scroll with caution.
