Top WWE Raw Star Suffers Injury During Match
One of WWE’s most popular stars on the “Monday Night Raw” brand suffered an injury during a tournament match. Penta and Solo Sikoa of “Friday Night SmackDown’s” MFT faction went one-on-one for a chance to advance to the next round in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament. Penta landed awkwardly on the floor after leaping off the barricade to connect with a hurricanrana.
WWE’s medical team quickly checked on the Mexican superstar. The match was then called off, and Sikoa was awarded the victory. At this time, there is no word on Penta’s status.

Penta’s WWE Run So Far
Penta has enjoyed success since making his WWE debut back in January. He has yet to win singles gold in WWE, but his popularity has skyrocketed, and he has been positioned strongly on “Monday Night Raw.”
Penta defeated Finn Balor in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, while Sikoa defeated Dolph Ziggler. This led to their match on Monday, and there’s no word on if Sikoa had been planned to win the match prior to Penta’s injury.
The timing of Penta’s injury could cause issues, as he is scheduled to team with his brother Rey Fenix at AAA’s “Guerra de Titanes” event on Dec. 20. Penta and Fenix are set to take on AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano, but that plan could very well be up in the air. Penta was not factored into plans for “Survivor Series 2025,” barring a late addition.
