Transfer Portal Prediction: Deion Sanders Loses Top WR to Lane Kiffin’s LSU
Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers have a lot of work to do if they want to make the College Football Playoff in 2026.
After one of, if not the most chaotic coaching transfer of the decade, with Kiffin departing Oxford on a private jet to sign in Baton Rouge, it’s time to work for the former Ole Miss leader on making good on his promises.
While finding a quarterback in the transfer portal that officially opens in a week’s time is the top priority, finding a weapon to go alongside that player under center is equally important.
The Tigers are losing their two top wideouts to the NFL Draft in veterans Barion Brown and Zavion Thomas, and they need an experienced, explosive player to regain the offensive fire the Tigers were known for when they last won the national title.
And I think they’ll get that missing piece, albeit at the expense of one of the other most prominent coaches in college football.

Prediction: Omarion Miller (Colorado) signs with Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers
A Louisiana native, Miller had an incredible breakout year in 2025 as part of Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes squad. After his first two years, which only combined for a little over 400 yards, Miller was unstoppable in his junior year, going for 808 yards and eight touchdowns.
Miller is one of the most hotly contested names across the portal, quarterbacks included, and would be a marquee signing for any program that picks him up.
He showcased a myriad of ways to slice up defenses in 2025, from tightly contested catches that he turned into bruising yards after catch to burning cornerbacks on the outside with his mixture of speed and physicality.
On an offense that is going to look mightily different in 2026, Kiffin bringing back Miller to Louisiana would be a pivotal signing that would instantly put them back into contention for the SEC crown, with the right quarterback to connect with the game-breaking wideout.
