Travis Kelce Reveals His Favorite Taylor Swift Album
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Travis Kelce has a favorite album by his girlfriend Taylor Swift, and he’s not afraid to talk about it.
Kelce, 35, recently confessed that his favorite album by Swift, also 35, is Tortured Poets Department when asked by a Nickelodeon reporter at a press conference at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Monday, January 3.
“I might be a little biased,” Kelce admitted after telling the reporter which of the 11 albums the pop star has released is his favorite. The reporter then asked the NFL player if he has a favorite song on the album.
“Maybe ‘So High School,’ ‘The Alchemy.’ I don’t know. There’s a few on there that are bangers,” Kelce responded. Both of the songs that Kelce mentioned are believed to be written about him, but Swifties’ suspicions have never been directly confirmed by the 14-time Grammy winner.

Tortured Poets Department was released in April 2024 and is notably the first Swift has put out since she and Kelce started dating in 2023.
The reporter also asked Kelce if he knew when Swift’s album Reputation (Taylor’s Version) was going to be released, and he diplomatically told them, “Um, I can neither confirm nor deny this.”
Swift has been re-recording and releasing her music since 2021 following a lawsuit over the rights to the masters of her music with Big Machine Records, her former label.
Fans of the “Fortnight” hitmaker have been speculating that the re-recorded version of Swift’s Reputation, which was originally released in 2017, will be the songstress’ next release. The singer has already released re-recorded versions of four of her studio albums, leaving only her 2006 self-titled project Taylor Swift and 2017’s Reputation.
Other fans believe that Swift will actually be giving fans new music after Kelce revealed that “there might be a few” new songs on the way in an interview on The Pat McAfee Show in January.
Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Despite not being confirmed, fans assume that Swift will be at the game to support her boyfriend.
