Triple H Hilariously Warns Eagles Players About Using His Finishing Move

Triple H has warned two members of the Philadelphia Eagles from attempting to use his finishing move after a certain recent celebration.

Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell’s celebration after securing a pivotal interception in the NFC Wild Card game has turned heads far beyond the football field, drawing the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
With just over a minute left in the fourth quarter, Mitchell sealed the Eagles’ 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers by intercepting a deep pass from quarterback Jordan Love in the end zone.
It was Mitchell’s first career interception, and it couldn’t have come at a more crucial moment. But what made the play even more memorable was how Mitchell chose to celebrate.

Teaming up with fellow cornerback Cooper DeJean, Mitchell attempted to pay tribute to Triple H by recreating his iconic wrestling move, the Pedigree.
The move involves locking the opponent’s arms behind their back, positioning their head between the legs, and then jumping to slam the opponent face-first into the ground.
However, the celebration didn’t go quite as planned.
DeJean fell prematurely, throwing off the timing of the move and turning what should have been a smooth tribute into a comical misfire.

Still, the attempt quickly went viral. Wrestling fans across the globe shared the clip, tagging Triple H in their posts and eagerly awaiting his reaction.
The WWE legend didn’t disappoint.
On social media, Triple H responded with a mix of humor and congratulations, writing, “There’s a reason we say ‘Don’t try this at home’… congrats on the win Quinyon & @Eagles!”
While he couldn’t exactly endorse the failed execution, he gave a nod to Mitchell and the Eagles for their victory.
The moment was a fun and unexpected crossover between the worlds of professional football and wrestling, with Mitchell’s attempt adding a lighthearted element to a high-stakes playoff game.
The Pedigree, of course, has been a cornerstone of Triple H’s career, with the 14-time world champion using it to claim victory over some of the biggest names in wrestling, from The Rock to Randy Orton.
Philadelphia itself has long had a connection to professional wrestling, being home to the legendary ECW and the site of WrestleMania 40 less than a year ago.
So, for the Eagles to bring a bit of wrestling flair to their playoff celebration felt particularly fitting for a city known for its passionate fan base and its rich wrestling history.
As for Mitchell, the interception was a standout play in his rookie season. In addition to the game-sealing pick, he recorded six tackles, matching a career high.
With the Eagles now moving on to the divisional round, Mitchell’s playful tribute to Triple H may go down as one of the more memorable moments of the NFC Wild Card game.
However, coach Nick Sirianni will likely be hoping his players focus more on football and less on wrestling moves as they push for a deeper playoff run.
While the failed Pedigree may have been a bit of a botched celebration, it certainly added some fun to an otherwise intense game, showing that even in the heat of playoff football, a little wrestling-inspired humor can go a long way.
