Tyrrell Hatton Comes Under Fire After He Calls Out ‘Worst Hole on the Planet’ at LIV Golf Dallas
If there is one professional golfer famous for swearing on the golf course, it’s Tyrrell Hatton. So much so that it has become customary for a camera with a hot mic to follow him around at virtually every tournament.
The LIV Golf Dallas was no exception, and Hatton delivered one of his ‘finest’ moments during the second round. The Englishman unleashed all his frustration over a bad shot, and it was perfectly captured and broadcast live to the entire world.
The incident occurred when Hatton played his second shot on the 7th hole. He missed the ball in the wrong spot on the green, and it rolled directly into the water that borders the hole on the left. Hatton’s reaction was priceless:
“Worst hole on the planet! That is F**KING BULLSHlT!” he yelled.
Although this reaction is classic Hatton, it did not sit well with fans, who expressed their opinions on social media:
“Lol you hit it short into a bank and it’s somehow the holes fault? Layup next time,” @fernandovarela posted.
“Great player but does not exactly ooze class does he!” @MyChatHQ wrote.
“Seeing Liv tour fans praise him yet cry about Rory, makes total sense,” @Zxero4x0 said.
“Never seen so many miserable golfers!!! Guess the money wasn’t worth it after all!” @PompeyChels79 posted.
The outburst was fiery, but the recovery was pure class, as he managed to save par on the hole.

A Look at Tyrrell Hatton’s Performance at LIV Golf Dallas
Neither the poor shot on the seventh hole nor the subsequent scare significantly influenced Tyrrell Hatton’s performance at LIV Golf Dallas. In fact, the Englishman is posting one of his best results of the season in the Saudi-backed league—if not the best.
Hatton got off to a slow start, carding four birdies and six bogeys for a 2-over in the first round. However, a day later, he stepped on the gas and responded with eight birdies and a bogey to bring his 36-hole score to 5-under.
Thanks to that performance, Hatton entered the final round tied for fourth with David Puig, four strokes behind leader Patrick Reed. But the best may be yet to come.
Playing the 11th hole of the final round, Hatton is alone in first place, one stroke ahead of Reed and Harold Varner III. A victory for the Englishman would be his second at LIV Golf.
