Valspar Championship 2025: Payout of $8.7 Million Purse at Innisbrook
Viktor Hovland won the 2025 Valspar Championship at 11-under, one stroke ahead of Justin Thomas. It is the seventh PGA Tour title for the Norwegian, who returns to the winner’s circle after a 19-month absence (2023 TOUR Championship).
Hovland started the round in a share of the lead but had to sweat for the win. The 27-year-old lost ground on the front nine, where Thomas carded three birdies and no bogeys to the Norwegian’s two birdies and one bogey.
Things got worse for Hovland on the start of the back nine, where Thomas had four birdies and no bogeys to the Norwegian’s two until the 15th hole. But Hovland played his best golf on the last three holes, birdieing the 16th and 17th and bogeying the 18th.
Thomas could not finish the job and carded two bogeys without a birdie on the last three holes to fall one shot behind Hovland.

The Norwegian captured his seventh PGA Tour title and took home the winner’s check of $1.566 million. All players who finished in the top 20 earned $100,000 or more.
