Vikings Announce Historic Justin Jefferson News During Chargers Clash
The Minnesota Vikings are attempting to land their fourth win of the 2025 season, but the Los Angeles Chargers have been making life difficult for the NFC squad. Despite the current 24-3 score, the team has announced some major historic news on star receiver Justin Jefferson.
More news: Carson Wentz Hit With Major Injury Concern From Vikings Insider
Jefferson is arguably the best wide receiver in the league, and has already picked up 72 yards through the first half of the “Thursday Night Football” showdown. As a result of his production, the star offensive playmaker has received some huge historic news.
Jefferson has logged 8,000 receiving yards in his young career. At just 26 years old, the Vikings star is already nearing the top 100 in total yards at the position.

More news: Ravens’ Lamar Jackson Could Play in Week 8, Per New Injury Update
Jefferson has been on a tear in 2025, despite the Vikings’ quarterback position being less than stellar. He came into Week 8 with 528 yards and one touchdown. As stated, he has 72 yards on the night, at the time of this writing.
The hope for the Vikings is that the defense steps up and stops the surging Chargers from running up the score even more. If the defense can get some stops, Jefferson and company can come in and even the score.
Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with a shoulder ailment that already led to an injury scare earlier in the game. However, he is toughing it out. The next step for him is to get the ball to Jefferson even more.
There is plenty of game left to play, and the Vikings certainly have the weapons to get some big plays going. With Jefferson, there is always a chance for big plays.
