Warriors vs Nuggets Injury Report: Nikola Jokic, Steph Curry Status Revealed
The Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets will be facing off tonight in a Western Conference showdown. Both teams will be looking to make a statement in this game as this could be a potential playoff matchup down the line.
Denver enters this game as the No. 3 seed in the West, holding a record of 43-25 for the year. They are in a three-way tie record-wise with the Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies.
The Nuggets have gone 5-5 over their past 10 games overall and will look to get back on track against Golden State. However, they do have a few key players on the injury report.
The most notable one is star center Nikola Jokic, who is dealing with both a right elbow and left ankle issue. Jokic was listed as questionable for this game and won’t play in this contest.

Denver needs Jokic on the court as he is a massive difference-maker for this team. The star has been playing at an MVP-level once again and is one of the favorites to win the award.
For the season, Jokic is averaging 29.1 points, 12.8 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Jokic is the engine that drives the Nuggets so they need him on the floor.

As for the Warriors, they come into this game holding a record of 39-28, sitting in the No. 6 spot in the West. Golden State enters this contest on fire, having won seven straight and nine of their last 10 games overall.
But heading into this matchup, star guard Stephen Curry was listed on the injury report due to a lower back strain. Curry was listed as questionable for the game and will play in this contest.

The Warriors would love to keep things going strong against the Nuggets. Since the addition of forward Jimmy Butler, the Warriors have been taken to a new level and look like a real threat in the West.
If the postseason started today, these two teams would face off against one another in the first round. Due to the pure star power on the court in this matchup, fans should be in for a great game between two of the better teams in the NBA.
