Watch: Brad Keselowski Loses Second-Place at Kansas As Tire Blows

Brad Keselowski’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway came to an abrupt end after his tire blew.
Keselowski had climed up the field after starting from 36th on the grid. However, while running second in the AdventHealth 400 during the final stage, the RFK Racing co-owner’s right-rear tire popped as he entered the first corner. As a result, the No. 6 Ford crashed into the outside wall.
The 41 year old was seen at the infield medical center, before being given the all clear.
This is Keselowski’s third consecutive race retirement after early exits in Talladega and Texas. Discussing his race-ending wreck in the former, Keselowski explained, as previously reported by Newsweek Sports:

“It was just a stack of guys trying to come to pit road as fast as they could and we were kind of the ham in the sandwich that got squeezed.
“I waved down the backstretch to let everybody know I was gonna pit and I came off of four and everybody was so tight behind me that I didn’t even have a chance to turn left. I hate that it ruined not just our day, but several other people’s day. I don’t think I could do anything different.”
Kyle Larson ultimately clinched the victory at Kansas Speedway, followed by Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney, who crossed the line in second and third, respectively. Chase Briscoe and Alex Bowman were next to take the chequered flag in fourth and fifth respectively.
Rounding out the top ten were Josh Berry, Ryan Preece, Chris Buescher, Joey Logano, and John H Nemechek.
