Who Was Linda Stevenson? Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband’s Wife Found Dead

Linda Stevenson, the current wife of Jill Biden’s ex-husband Bill Stevenson, was found dead after police responded to a reported domestic dispute at a home in Delaware, authorities said.

Officers with the New Castle County Division of Police were called to a residence in the Oak Hill community of Wilmington at about 11:16 p.m. Sunday, where they found the 64-year-old unresponsive in the living room, according to a post by the department’s Facebook page. Police attempted life-saving measures, but Stevenson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit are investigating, and Stevenson’s body has been turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. No charges have been filed.

Linda Stevenson had been married to Bill Stevenson for nearly four decades. Bill Stevenson was previously married to Jill Jacobs, now Jill Biden, before their divorce in 1975. Jill Biden married former President Joe Biden in 1977. Bill Stevenson is a former owner of the Stone Balloon, a well-known bar near the University of Delaware.
