Liberals have declared that ‘Woke Is Back’ after Democratic candidates won a clean sweep of election victories across the country.
Democrats won governorships in Virginia and New Jersey, democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani was victorious in the race to become the next mayor of New York, and Democrats swept judicial races in Pennsylvania.
The results are a boost for Democrats going into the 2026 midterms, following widespread losses in the 2024 presidential election.
And liberals have wasted no time in moving to celebrate the win, as X has been flooded with the term, “woke is back.”
Matt Bernstein, host of the A Bit Fruity podcast, shared an image of him and Mamdani grinning, and wrote “woke is back,” in a post on X viewed over 140,000 times.
Meanwhile, Kyle Kulinksi, host of The Kyle Kulinski Show, wrote on X, in a post viewed over 700,000 times “REST IN P**S MAGA BOZOS WOKE IS BACK.”
