WWE News: IShowSpeed Enters Royal Rumble, Immediately Eliminated

The WWE Universe was shocked when when Superstar Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy was knocked unconscious by eliminated wrestler Carmelo Hayes.
Naturally, someone needed to take his spot, and Triple H had the perfect answer: YouTuber IShowSpeed.

After some protesting, IShowSpeed ran to the ring where he assisted Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker in eliminating Otis.
However, the IShowSpeed-Breakker partnership quickly came to an end when Breakker viciously speared the YouTuber and threw him out of the ring into the arms of Otis, who proceeded to chuck him into the announce table.
This is not IShowSpeed’s first appearance with WWE. His most iconic moment came dressed as a bottle of Prime, helping Logan Paul retain the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania XL.
Real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr., IShowSpeed is a wildly popular YouTuber, rapper, and internet personality. He currently has nearly 36 million subscribers.

IShowSpeed has taken home multiple awards for his streaming, including two Streamy Awards, three The Streamer Awards, and one GOAL Champions Award.

IShowSpeed enters a long tradition of celebrities entering the Royal Rumble. Fellow YouTuber Logan Paul and music megastar Bad Bunny recently had memorable entries in the iconic event.
That being said, one of the most infamous celebrities to enter the Royal Rumble was Drew Carey. After getting into the ring, he came face-to-face with Kane and quickly walked out after trying to offer the Big Red Machine money to not attack him.

IShowSpeed wasn’t the only surprise entrant during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
Modern pro wrestling legend and multi-time WWE Champion AJ Styles made his return as No. 21 in the Men’s Royal Rumble.
The Women’s Royal Rumble also saw multiple returns. Charlotte Flair announced her return weeks ahead of the event and wound up winning the entire event.
Additionally, Alexa Bliss made her WWE return after being gone for over two years. Two WWE Hall of Famers also came back: Nikki Bella and Trish Stratus.
