That being said, most of the news of the past few days had more to do with things outside of WWE proper.

WWE Legend Mick Foley Hospitalized After Serious Car Wreck

On Tuesday, April 1, WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling legend Mick Foley announced on Facebook that he had been in a car accident and was hospitalized.

Fortunately, the man known as Cactus Jack turned out to only suffer a minor concussion and some bumps and bruises, once again proving that he may be one of the toughest and luckiest wrestlers to ever live.

Pro Wrestling Legend Bret Hart Reacts to Record-Breaking WWE Hall of Fame Induction

Despite having been retired for near 14 years, Bret “The Hitman” Hart continues to make history after becoming the first wrestler (alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock) to have a match inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Additionally, this gives Hart the record for the most inductions in the WWE Hall of Fame. He has previously been inducted as an individual and as a member of the Hart Foundation alongside Jim Neidhart.

Rusev Re-Signs With WWE: Report

According to recent reports, Rusev (also known as Miro in AEW) has officially signed with WWE and has been seen at WWE headquarters.

Throughout his career, Rusev has held the WWE United States Championship three times and the AEW TNT Championship once.

This marks one of many wrestlers as of late who have moved from AEW to WWE, including Penta and Ricky Starks. Additionally, Rey Fénix and Aleister Black are expected to return to WWE soon.
