WWE Star Has Wild Reaction to AJ Lee’s SmackDown Return

Former WWE star AJ Lee returned on Friday’s SmackDown in Chicago as she arrived to assist her husband, CM Punk, in the ring. After retiring 10 years ago, Lee returned to take down Becky Lynch in an epic moment.
Her appearance came as a surprise for some at the tail end of SmackDown after Becky attacked Punk verbally and physically.
Lee didn’t speak during her return. Instead, she allowed her in-ring fighting to do all the talking as fans at the arena popped and erupted with cheers.

Seeing the popular star also prompted plenty of buzz and reactions online from fans who celebrated the former WWE Divas Champion returning to the professional wrestling company.
It brought a crazy reaction from one of Punk and Lee’s co-stars, who wasn’t in the building for all the mayhem and hysteria.

Trinity Fatu, best known as Naomi in WWE, shared a clip of AJ Lee’s SmackDown return which also featured CM Punk and Becky Lynch.
It included a message directed at “Big Jim” suggesting he would be “sleeping outside with the fleas tonight.”
For those wondering, “Big Jim” is a nickname for Naomi’s husband, Jimmy Uso, so her message suggested that he’s in the doghouse since she couldn’t be part of SmackDown to see it.
Naomi revealed her pregnancy last month, forcing her to vacate her Women’s Championship and watch from elsewhere as she recovers. She and Uso are preparing for their first child together.
Her recent X message could be trying to set up for a future match against AJ Lee, or one with her and Jimmy versus Lee and Punk. Or she’s jokingly upset she wasn’t there for the big event.
Meanwhile, speculation is swirling about AJ Lee’s return match, with it believed to be part of this month’s card for WWE Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis. WWE has yet to officially announce it for the card, so it may take some more buildup to get to that point.
