Cody Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated arson, burglary, terrorism and other offenses, the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday. Authorities said Balmer scaled an iron security fence and eluded state troopers before breaking into Shapiro’s residence and setting fire to it in the early hours of Sunday.
