Knicks Trading for Karl-Anthony Towns in Shocking Blockbuster Deal: Report
The New York Knicks are reportedly acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns in a shocking trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Shams Charania of The Athletic was first to report on the trade.
Charania reports that Towns would be heading to New York in a package that includes Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
This would be the biggest surprise of the offseason, and would put a cap on one of the greatest offseasons ever by the Knicks.

Towns helped Minnesota reach the Western Conference Finals last season, falling in five games to the Dallas Mavericks. Now, it appears he’s heading to New York to join a revamped Knicks squad that finished as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference last year, and lost in seven games to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
