Kyle Tucker Prediction: Slugger Lands $400 Million Deal With AL Powerhouse
The Kyle Tucker sweepstakes is one of the most intriguing storylines of the entire offseason this winter.
The Chicago Cubs swung a huge trade to acquire Tucker before this year, but it never seemed like they would be able to re-sign him to a huge new contract.
Instead, the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and Toronto Blue Jays are seemingly the top three suitors for Tucker. The slugger is likely going to land a deal worth over $350 million, which fits the payroll of these three teams, but where will he sign?

Prediction: Kyle Tucker signs $400-plus million deal with the Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays make perfect sense as a suitor for Tucker.
The Dodgers reportedly aren’t willing to offer Tucker a deal worth over three or four years. Tucker is likely going to land a deal of at least eight or nine years, with the potential to sign for a decade. Because of this, there’s almost no chance the Dodgers land him.
The Yankees haven’t shown the aggressiveness in free agency this offseason to make me believe they’d give $400 million to Tucker.
The Blue Jays have.
Toronto has already added Dylan Cease this winter. Giving Tucker a $400 million deal to complete their lineup and outfield would be the best-case scenario for the Blue Jays.
