Mavericks vs Bulls Injury Report: Anthony Davis, Lonzo Ball Status Revealed
The Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls will be facing off today in a crucial game for both sides. Both teams are fighting for their playoff lives, making this game important for multiple reasons.
The Mavericks enter this game with a record of 36-38, clinging to the final spot in the Western Conference Play-In standings. Dallas has been playing a little better of late, in part due to the return of star big man Anthony Davis.
Davis returned from a long injury absence and has immediately made his presence felt. The Mavericks are hopeful that with Davis in the lineup, they can make a last-ditch effort to make the postseason this year.
But entering this game, Davis found himself on the injury report. Davis was listed as probable for this game and will play against the Bulls.

Getting Davis back into the lineup has done wonders for the Mavericks, considering the injuries that they have seen this season. It got to a point where the Mavericks nearly had to forfeit games due to a lack of players available.
For his three games with the Mavericks, Davis has averaged 17.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 0.7 steals. With Davis on the floor, the Mavericks are a force to deal with, and this game against Chicago is pivotal in their quest for the playoffs.

As for the Bulls, they have been playing much better of late and are now in a position to reach the postseason. Like the Mavericks, Chicago is fighting for a spot in the Eastern Conference Play-In standings.
The Bulls’ biggest name on the injury report is guard Lonzo Ball. Ball was listed as doubtful for the game and won’t suit up against Dallas today.

Chicago has found ways to win even without Ball in the lineup, partly due to an emergence from guard Josh Giddey. The Bulls are high on the upside of Giddey and have won eight of their past 10 games overall.
This is a feisty team that never gives up in a game, giving them some hope for the postseason. But getting this game against Dallas could go a long way in determining where they land in the standings this season.
